I decided to start this site to get some important information
out to those who need it. There are alot of sites out there on the net, and it's hard to weed through and find the good ones.
I have two great sites to share with you. Both have been a very important part of my life. I hope they will help you
as much as they have helped me.
The first site is Royce's Relationship Resource. The skills I learned here and the wonderful support I received helped me to grow as an individual and in the
process save my marriage and stop my divorce. My husband and I have been back together for over 2 years now and we are
doing better than ever.
The message boards and forums here are the best I have seen. I am proud to say that Royce
has chosen me to be a moderator on this board and I hope that I can help others in the way that he's helped me. His e-book,
It Only Takes One To Get The Ball Rolling, is a great source of information and the first step to get you on your way.
Even if your marriage/relationship is
not in trouble at this time, the skills you can learn here will help you to improve the relationship you have and prevent
unforseen problems in the future. Nothing is so good it can't be improved upon...right? :)
The other site that was such an important part of my life is Kids Fighting For Kids. Although this organization is no longer active, the site remains in hopes that people may still be helped
by it. (3/21/05 update - we are in the process of trying to start this organization back up.
With a little help and a little prayer, hopefully we will make it this time)
KFFK was a missing children's
organization founded by kids, for kids. The goal was to educate children and families on safety, abduction prevention, and
the dangers to our kids out there. There are links on the site to alot of safety tips, other missing children's organizations,
sex-offender databases (I urge you to see if your state has a database...see who lives in your neighborhood, who is around
your children).
I feel that I have been given so much through these two sites that I want to pass what I've
gained along. There are some wonderful people in this world and I have been fortunate enough to meet many of them thanks to
these places. Someone once told me that it's like the movie says...Pay it forward. This is my attempt at that.
